APPLICATION
It is an extreme-pressure additive for lubricants, which is used for straight and soluble cutting oils used with non copper alloys. It’s the most efficient dialkyl pentasulfide. It is soluble in mineral oil, synthetic base oil and most common solvents. It is insoluble in water.
Application scope: Gear oil, grease, metalworking fluid.
Usage method: Added to the formulation directly and compatibility needs to be tested before adding.
